I love Allesley park because it offers peace and quiet to the local community whilst supporting wildlife.

Allesley park is just 5 minutes walk from my house and it's been a real life saver over the years that I've lived here. The local people are kind, polite and community minded. Before the virus the regular visitors, myself included, picked up litter on a regular basis and reported any vandalism to the council. Things have changed since lockdown and the park is now full all the time with people leaving their litter, including masks and dog mess all over the place. I hope that when this is all over the park can once again become a clean and beautiful place to spend some quiet time.
