We will enable delivery of our priorities by being a council with a strong and sustainable financial position, with resources and assets that are aligned with our priorities.  

We have amended the One Coventry Plan following your feedback on this priority by:

  • Being clear about the importance of financial plans meeting the needs of residents

  • Strengthened the importance of an engaged, inclusive and diverse workforce and being an employer of choice

  • Included a commitment to work collaboratively across services boundaries and optimise a whole council approach

    As part of improvements to our procurement processes, we are encouraging businesses to complete a survey to ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion is a part of all of our procurement policies, procedures and activities.

    We already have a detailed guide designed to help suppliers and contractors who wish to supply Coventry City Council with goods or services, or carry out works on our behalf.
