Get Grants are very excited to invite you to our first FREE Virtual Conference!
Join us for TWO days of expert fundraising advice, top tips, Q&As, networking, peer-support, and lots of chat!
On October 1st and 2nd, 2024, Get Grants is hosting a free, two-day virtual conference. The conference will unite UK fundraisers in a program led by Get Grants experts and other sector professionals.
Attendees can look forward to expert advice, networking, Q&As, and peer-support. Each session will offer practical advice to implement in your work.
Fundraisers of all abilities are welcome to join, build confidence, and celebrate their work in a friendly environment. The conference is entirely free, with no fees, sponsors, or advertising. It's also simple and accessible, with no break-out rooms or session choices. If you can't attend all sessions, recordings will be freely available to all.

Save the date, Sports Fest 2024!
Coventry’s much-loved Sports Fest event is set to return with six days of free activities this summer.
Join in activities at Broadgate from Tuesday 6 August – Sunday 11 August from 10am-4pm each day.
Among the activities available will be table tennis, dance, gaming that utilises augmented reality tech, archery and cricket. As always, they’ll be a wide range of sports and wellbeing activities to try out, suitable for all ages and abilities.

The Health Determinants Research Collaboration is delivering a series of webinars on different aspects of research. Clothing Coventry - appeal for men's clothing
Clothing Coventry is in need of donations of good quality and season appropriate men's clothes. Please use reusable bags for all donations and label the bags with sizes.
All sorts of clothing is needed but especially men's clothing.
Examples include: tops, trainers, trousers, tracksuits and joggers, shorts, vests, T shirts, underwear and socks.
All sizes are needed, but there is a particular need for large and medium sizes and size 10 trainers.

A Research Collaboration based at Coventry City Council are looking for people working in Voluntary and Community Organisations who are interested in co-creating research training.

Budget Consultation 2024/25
We want to give everyone the opportunity to tell us what you think about our spending proposals for 2024/25
Reductions of more than £100m in our funding coupled with unprecedented rises in inflationary pressures and demand for services – 79% of our budget is now spent on social care and homelessness, up from 40% in 2010, this means we know we cannot do everything we would like to. However, we can make sure that we give everyone the opportunity to have a say in how we build our budget for the next financial year of 2024/25.
