Every year, Coventry City Council reviews injuries and collisions on the roads in the city.
As a result of this review, together with a number of enquiries from residents, including a petition, Cheveral Avenue, Jubilee Crescent and Catesby Road have been identified as sites that would benefit from a Safety Scheme.
The aims of the scheme are to reduce traffic speeds and improve safety for pedestrians and all other road users. The scheme includes speed cushions, changes at junctions, pedestrian refuges, and alterations to existing pedestrian crossing facilities.
We are keen to know what you think of these proposals. Your responses will be collated, and based on these responses a decision will be made on whether to go ahead with the scheme as proposed or to make amendments.
The survey has now concluded, and the legal notice for objections has now passed.
