Billy's ABC Boxing Club Wins Sport England Funding to Support Local Youth
We’re thrilled to announce that Billy's ABC Boxing has been awarded £14,500 from Sport England's prestigious Movement Fund. Based in Canley at the Toe2Toe gym. This generous funding will support a transformative 12-month project designed to offer free activities to young people at risk of anti-social behaviour.
The initiative goes beyond sports—it’s about creating opportunities for young people to overcome the negative influences in their lives. By engaging in structured, positive activities, participants will build self-esteem, boost confidence, and set higher aspirations for their futures. Alongside these life-changing personal benefits, the program will also help improve physical fitness, promoting healthier and more active lifestyles.
This project is a shining example of how sport can act as a catalyst for positive change. Stay tuned for updates on the impact this initiative will have on the lives of local youth and the wider community
