Community Resilience Team supports The Silas Mkoba Foundation

The Community Resilience Team are pleased to share that we have supported the Silas Mkoba Foundation in securing £10,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All Fund. This funding has helped enable the delivery of The Jewels Support Circle.

The Jewels is a compassionate women’s group providing vital support to widows, single mothers, and women navigating life after grief or personal loss. The group offers a safe, welcoming environment for healing, connection, and empowerment. Sessions run monthly, with additional support meetings arranged when needed.

The programme began in September at the Pathways Family Hub in Coventry, and upcoming dates for the remaining sessions are:

• Thursday, 2 April 2026
• Thursday, 7 May 2026
• Thursday, 4 June 2026
• Thursday, 2 July 2026
• Thursday, 6 August 2026
