Good Neighbours Memory Lane Groups
Our Memory Lane Groups provide a friendly, supportive environment for people living with dementia or memory loss and their carers.
Locations and Times
Woodside Avenue Methodist Church, Finham
- Fortnightly on Tuesdays
- 10:30am to 12:00pm
Lawrence Saunders Road Baptist Church, Radford
- Every Friday
- 10:30am to 12:00pm
Who Can Attend?
- People can simply turn up or self-refer.
- A suggested donation of £2 per session is requested.
- Suitable for people with all levels of dementia or memory loss.
- Anyone living with dementia or memory loss should attend with a carer or companion.
- Carers are welcome to relax elsewhere in the room while volunteers engage and support their loved ones.
Activities
Sessions offer a wide range of enjoyable activities, including:
- Live music
- Gentle exercise
- Arts and crafts
- Quizzes
- Reminiscence activities
- Social interaction and conversation

Good Neighbours Men's Chat Groups (Age 50+)
Our informal community chat groups offer a welcoming space for men aged 50+ to socialise, share experiences, and build connections.
Locations and Times
St Martin's Church, Finham
- Fridays, 1:00pm to 2:30pm
- General conversation, with discussions often focusing on politics and football
ICC, Keresley
- Tuesdays, 2:00pm to 3:30pm
- General chat, with people frequently talking about family life and personal concerns
St Paul's Church, Foleshill
- Thursdays, 4:00pm to 5:30pm
- A smaller, more diverse group with participants who may have higher support needs
Who Can Attend?
- Open to men aged 50+
- No booking or referral required
- People living with dementia also attend, though these are not dementia-specific groups.
