Sherbourne Fields Special School Survey

Coventry City Council wish to consult on the proposed expansion of Sherbourne Fields Special School. This proposed project will provide an opportunity to expand an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ provision in the city, to meet rising demand for special school places across Coventry. Sherbourne Fields School provides specialist education towards a broad spectrum of need including physical disabilities, medical conditions and learning needs. The school provides an excellent range of facilities to the city’s vulnerable learners. This proposed project will enable more children to be able to access these facilities and ensuring the current quality of education provided by the school continues to increase.

The council will carry out open and fair communications with parents, carers, nearby schools, and other interested parties of Sherbourne Fields Special school as part of its statutory process for an expansion of this size. The responses received from this survey will be fed back and taken into consideration for this project.
