The Local Authority (Coventry City Council) has a duty to consult on their School Admission Policy every 7 years, even if the policy has not changed.
Coventry Schools need to ensure that there is a clear policy which explains how applications for school places are prioritised.
By having and publishing a policy, parents can see that there is a fair process for deciding who gets their choice of school and what information helps those who make those decisions to allocate a place.
There are no changes being made for the admissions policy for 2027.
