Council allocates extra cash to aid fight against fly tipping

Additional funding of almost £200,000 is to be spent on a crackdown on fly tipping in an attempt to keep the city’s streets and green spaces clean and litter-free.

The extra funds were agreed as part of the Council’s budget-setting this week and will help support work to prevent fly tipping and prosecute those responsible.
