All Councils have a responsibility under the terms of the Licensing Act 2003 for

There is a duty to review and, where necessary, refresh the policy every 5 years

This Statement of Licensing Policy relates to all those licensing activities identified as falling within the provisions of the Act, namely: -

▪ The sale by retail of alcohol

▪ The supply of alcohol by clubs

▪ The provision of regulated entertainment

▪ The provision of late-night refreshment

This Consultation is open from 12th August 2025 to 7th October 2025.
