Review of the current Statement of Licensing Policy (Taxi & Private Hire)

The current Statement of Licensing Policy (Taxi and Private Hire) was issued on the 14^th September 2022. The Policy is reviewed every 5 years unless a review is required due to legislative changes or emerging issues.

It is proposed to make changes to the following;

• Vehicle Emissions
• Vehicle Age
• London Conditions of Fitness
• DBS Update Service
• Certificate of Good Conduct

This review therefore, requires a consultation process.
