Are you looking to grow your confidence to get back into the workplace or take your first steps in your career? Wherever you want to be - even if that’s not with us – we can help. One of our expert trainers is ready to share their knowledge with you.
This Grow Your Confidence session will help to:
• Understand what’s holding you back.
• View things differently.
• Improve your confidence.
What’s on offer:
Two FREE employability workshops – Grow Your Confidence (10am) and What Job Do You Want? (12.30pm) - Sign up to one, or both!
FREE lunch, tea and coffee for all attendees (between 11:30 - 12:30)
The Job Shop has relocated to a new unit next to the Iceland store inside West Orchards Shopping Centre from 27th March.
The new Job Shop will still be offering the same services, but these will be delivered within improved facilities. They'll be better accessibility, adaptable air-conditioned rooms, a new registration and booking system, and opportunities for increased collaboration with employers and service providers.

Act on Energy
'Act on Energy' provides free impartial advice on energy efficiency and grants and projects available in your area to help keep you warm this winter.
P3 can provide help with: Housing/tenancy issues, independent living skills, money management/benefit advice, health and well-being or general advice and support.

Coventry Independent Advice Service is a charity offering free confidential advice around benefits, making claims, debt, money problems and challenging decisions on benefit claims.

As you may be aware, we are seeing an increasing number of measles cases across Coventry and the West Midlands.
Measles is extremely infectious and can be serious. It can spread quickly among communities and places (such as schools and nurseries) if people have not had two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

The guide is full of most up-to-date advice and information to help older people stay healthy and safe through the coming winter months, including practical advice on how to manage costs during the winter and what support is available, if they’re struggling.
The guide has three sections:
Staying warm – providing information and advice to help older people keep themselves and their homes warm this winter, like financial support that they could access to help them with their energy costs.
Open 24 hours a day from 23rd December at 9.30am to 29th December closing at 10am
Emergency overnight sleeping for homeless to anyone in need, free hot meals, emergency food parcels, warm bank to anyone whi needs a safe, non judgemental place to go.
Warm Hub & Housing Advice and Guidance Drop-In for Young People age 16-25 When: Every Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 1 pm-4pm Where: Bardsley House
Bring your housing questions, benefits letters/queries, utility or council tax bills you would like support to understand. We can support you with any questions you may have related to finding, securing, equipping and keeping accommodation in Coventry. Come relax play pool or Xbox, and chat with our support staff and other young people. The building will be warm and hot drinks and snacks will be available. WOMENtalk is the sister project of MENtalk, the Sky Blues in the Community (SBitC) charity’s successful men’s mental health project.
WOMENtalk will provide fun activities and social opportunities in community venues, AT7 Centre Coventry 12:00 - 14:00pm. Each session will be led by SBitC’s Mental Health Co-Ordinator with support from SBitC’s professional sports coaches. Course content will vary based on participants’ needs but ice-breaking activities andget to know youactivities will form part of all courses.

The Council is launching a new programme to help reduce the digital divide in Coventry called the #CovConnects Device Bank.
The #CovConnects Device Bank willsupport community organisations and charities to access digital devices, which can be distributed to communities and residents. The #CovConnects team will provide support for connectivity and digital skills in addition to the devices, ensuring residents and organisations are able to access all of the benefits digital inclusion brings.
