Adult public health services commissioned by Coventry City Council work with more than 30,000 people every year. Many people self-refer to these services and others are referred by agencies in the criminal justice system, within the health and social care economy and others.

We want to hear from agencies referring to, and working alongside, adult public health services to understand how these services can work even better.

If you have had contact with any of the below local services in the last year please tell us about your experience – what was good and what could be improved. We will not share your details with any providers, but we will share the themes arising from feedback in order to improve what we do.

Change, Grow, Live (CGL) which provides treatment for adults dependent on drugs or alcohol

Coventry Ambulance Response Service which provides on-street medical support for people injured or intoxicated in the night time economy

Healthy Lifestyles Service (HLS) Coventry which provides stop smoking, weight management, support for people to reduce their drinking and the city’s NHS Health Check programme

Integrated Sexual Health (ISH) which provides testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections and contraception services (including the C-Card scheme, Long Acting Reversible Contraception and the ‘Morning after pill’)

Various services provided by Coventry Haven, Panahghar, Relate and Valley House to support and protect victims of domestic violence

(Click on any of the above for more information)

Many interventions provided by these services are delivered by pharmacies and GPs under sub-contracting arrangements with the above providers – we’re keen to hear about any experience you have of these services delivered by sub-contractors.
