The Council is conducting a review of polling districts and polling places. The review will be conducted in accordance with the Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places (Parliamentary Elections) Regulations 2006.


As part of this process, the Council must:

  • Seek to ensure that all electors have reasonable facilities to vote at
  • Seek to ensure that so far as is reasonable and practical, the polling places are accessible to people with disabilities
  • When considering or reviewing the designation of a polling place, have regard to the accessibility needs of people with disabilities.

To help us make sure we honour these obligations, we are keen to hear your feedback on the current arrangements, maps of which can be found here.

Paper copies of the documents are also available for inspection at the Council House, Earl Street, Coventry, CV1 5RR.

The Electoral Arrangements Advisory Panel will consider all representations and they will submit the final polling district and polling place scheme for Coventry. This scheme will then be considered by the Council in November 2019.

The law requires that any submissions received during the review be published on the Council website with all personal details removed.
