Coventry and Warwickshire Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA)
.What is a PNA?
The PNA will:
look at the current provision of pharmaceutical services across Coventry and Warwickshire
assess whether service provision meets the current and future needs of the population and;
identify any potential gaps to service delivery.
The PNA is a key document which is used by:
NHS England to inform decisions about applications for new, or changes to existing pharmaceutical services, and the commissioning of NHS-funded services that can be provided by local community pharmacies
local authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) when commissioning services to meet local health needs and priorities
How you can help us?
As part of the process of producing a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) a consultation period of at least 60 days must take place. Specific organisations must be consulted, however the consultation may be offered to people outside of those organisations and the public.
The purpose of the consultation is to ensure the PNA accurately reflects the current provision and needs (both current and future) of the area in relation to community pharmacies, so we therefore ask all respondents to read the entire document before completing the survey.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below.
Your views are confidential and the findings from the survey will be used to inform the PNA. The deadline for responses is August 29
