Coventry’s push for foster carers continues

Coventry’s campaign centres on the need for more people from a variety of backgrounds and different life experiences, skills and qualities to open their homes and hearts, and to make a difference in a child’s life.

In line with the position across the country, the city has a shortage of foster carers and the number of people enquiring to Coventry has also decreased and reinforces the ongoing need to raise awareness of fostering. However, the Council remains committed to recruiting at least 36 new foster carers by the end of March 2024.
