Coventry City Council is developing a new strategy for heritage
This means helping more people to discover, celebrate and protect Coventry’s rich history and cultural identity. Our aim is for everyone to have the chance to connect with Coventry’s past and shape its future.
The strategy will build on insights from our last heritage survey, carried out in 2020, along with the new information gathered through this survey. This will help us understand how views and priorities have evolved in recent years.

What might stop you from getting involved
What would encourage you to take part in heritage activities or visit local sites
Heritage can mean many things – it’s not just about historic buildings in the city.

This survey is being carried out by Coventry City Council, in line with the Data Protection Act 1998. The data controller is Coventry City Council. The information collected in this survey will be used by Coventry City Council officers to help deliver a Heritage Strategy for the city. We may share the results of the survey with our partners when appropriate. All information produced will be anonymised. The data processor is Bang the Table. Information is stored on servers in the United Kingdom and Bang the Table gives an undertaking never to disclose the survey questions or your responses to others without permission.
