Coventry City Council and partners are developing a new strategy for physical activity. This means helping more people to move, play sport, and enjoy being active. We want everyone in Coventry to have the chance to be healthier.

The strategy will guide how we can:

  • help more adults, children and young people get active – especially in areas where fewer people currently do
  • bring together local groups, clubs and people who can support you to be active
  • close the gap in health between the most and least advantaged communities in Coventry

We Need Your Help

We want to know:

  • how much physical activity you do now
  • what makes it difficult for you to be active
  • what would help you move more

When we say physical activity, we mean any movement you do for at least 10 minutes at a time, adding up to 30 minutes or more a week. It’s not just sport – it could be:

  • walking or wheeling
  • travelling by bike or on foot
  • gardening
  • playing with the family
  • having an active job
  • or even swimming outdoors

Please share your thoughts in our short survey at the bottom of this page. This will help us develop the strategy and should only take five minutes.

Your answers will help us plan things like:

  • local events and activities
  • safer and more welcoming spaces for being active

Your say. Your way. Your move!

The survey closes on Sunday 2 November
